With all the plans and obligations that the typical family has, it is natural that they would need some sort of family organizer, or planner. Writing engagements on the wall calendar works, but not if you have more than two people in the family writing on it! This is where family organizers are useful. Family organizers are like day planners, but there are sections for lots of different tasks. Family organizers have tabs available for pet duties and appointments, notes to the teacher, shopping responsibilities, budgets, and more. If one or more family member works out at the gym, or with a personal trainer, there is a category for fitness. If both parents and a teenage child are licensed drivers, there is a section for “automobile”, which can have scheduled oil changes or things of that nature. If there are smaller kids in the family, there is a section for “stage mom” and “troop leader”, in case parents are involved with the children’s theater groups or Scouts meetings.
It’s good to have some day planner accessories to go along with the organizer or planners that family members may have. Some complementing items include pens (of course you will have to write things down on the spur of the moment!) as well as travel mugs for that morning (or noon) coffee. With all of the memories made, your family will definitely want to buy a leather photo album, or several. Leather photo albums are durable and last for years. They look great on the shelf with old or new books, and do a great job of organizing your family pictures. Four by six inch photos are the standard size that fit in photo albums, and there are over 300 pockets in which to put photos.
